Nuibari

Personal Fanart, Naruto:Redux - Seven Swords of the Mist, (2026)

Nuibari earned the title of "longsword" by assuming the form of a large sewing needle with a long length of thin (nearly invisible) wire, mirroring thread - tied through the eye located at the base of it's hilt. The sword is said to possess the ability to pierce all and stitch them together by penetrating multiple targets in a single thrust and stitching them together in bundles.

The value of Nuibari lies in it's silent and sadistic use of piercing all and sewing it's opponents together with it's invisible wire. The Legend grew, that Nuibari was one of the most feared for it's silent killing from all angles. The sword itself was likely used for piercing weak points rather than cutting or dueling.

I took few liberties with Nuibari's design as it is one of the simplest but coolest designs of the Seven Swords. I wanted to imagine something battle tested with both the ability to pierce via javelin throw, as well as hold up as a thin long sword for combat.
